Schwartz Family Reunion
The first Saturday in August is the Annual Schwartz Family Reunion. We drove down to Kenton, OH to take part in this glorious tradition. My Grandpa is one of ten kids, actually he is number 8 in the line, and it is the ten and their descendants that get together. We had a such a great time. There was the traditional volleyball, delicious food, the F.N.G.D.R.A
This was the first time that I had been able to attend the reunion since 2004! Chris and the kids had never been before, so this was quite the experience. We all had a blast. Olivia and Andrea became best buds. I mean the girls have the same shoes, sippy cup, and snack trapper...they were meant to be friends. We played cornhole, volleyball and just hung around an reconnected with everyone. It was a great time. We are so looking forward to next year!

Detroit Zoo with Gigi
Since Gigi was in town for a couple days, we went to the Detroit Zoo. Chris took the day off work and came with us. We had a ton of fun. Olivia even got to try ice cream for the first time...it was her actual birthday after all. Her favorite animal was the Polar Bear. She loved watching them swim all around her. She also was very excited about the Prairie Dogs...but they don't "woof" which she wasn't a big fan of.

Happy Birthday Olivia!
Well another year has past. I can not believe that Olivia is 2! She is getting so big, but is also a little weird that she has only been around for 2 year...I know a had a life before kids, but that seems so long ago. It has to be longer than 2 year that I was able to go to the grocery store by myself, actually make a "quick" stop somewhere, sleep in, and go to the bathroom without being barged in on....sweet memories. Even with all the craziness of having kids, the past 2 years have been absolutely amazing. Olivia has grown so much and is really coming into her own.
She knows what she wants, when she wants it, and the whole package of how it is going to happen! (I know, it is a little familiar) We had a great time celebrating her birthday. Gigi came in from FL for the occasion and it was great to see her. We missed Grandpa Tony, but will hopefully get to see him in October. We had some fireworks in celebration of the 4th, although Olivia thinks that they were for her and would cry "happy!" (as in happy birthday) everytime they went off. All in all a great day.

Chaos
The past few weeks just feel like a complete blur. It seems like it has been one thing after another.
In the beginning of June, I decided to take a little road trip up to visit my Grandpa. I hadn't seen him in a while and it was nice to get away for a couple days and break up the routine. (I start to run out of things to do at home with the kids!) We also just got new bikes! They have been an absolute blast! Olivia LOVES going for bike rides! So much fun.
Just about two weeks ago Josh came down with the stomach flu. Poor buddy, was so sick and miserable. After 3 days of puking we went to the doctor's. He was put on a Hydration diet (pedialyte only) and we had to call in with updates. Two more days of puking and we went to the hospital. We ended up being in the ER for 6 or so hours. He was so dehydrated that he needed an IV for 4 1/2 hours. He did throw up a couple more times after or trip to the ER, but the doctor said that would be expected since he still had the flu. Thankfully no one else caught the flu, although colds went around the next week or so. We have officially had our first ER visit. Check!

On top of all the crazy traveling and ER visits we found out on Tuesday that my cousin Rose was in a terrible incident Monday night. Rose lives in LA and so my Aunt and Uncle and cousin Cecilia flew out on Wednesday. Rose is continuing to recover everyday. She still has a long road ahead, but has been just amazing in this whole process. A care page has been set up on Rose's behalf: http://www.carepages.com/carepages/roseschwartz
