To be Mimicked
Today I busted out Olivia's little table and chairs and set her up for some coloring. I sat down at the dining room table with my bible study ready to go. Olivia and I sat on the same side of our perspective tables. I had my coffee in tow and Olivia then insisted on a sippy cup. I opened up my bible study and started. I looked over at Olivia and she had a crayon in her mouth! We went through the whole idea of not eating crayons. A few moments later, crayon in the mouth. I went to reprimand her again and in the middle of "no, Olivia" I started laughing. My pen was in MY mouth!! oops. I wonder where she gets that from. Not even a minute later, I catch her coloring in her book. Again..."we color on paper, not in our books." I go back to my bible study and look at the first page, glaring with passages that have been underlined, notes in the margin. Shoot. I wonder where Olivia got that idea! Apparently I missed the lesson about no crayons in the mouth and coloring on paper not in the books.
