Olivia's First Day of "School"

Olivia started Mom's Morning Out yesterday.  She loves it!  We call it her school.  It is just one day a week to give me a little bit of a break with number 3 on the way.  I took full advantage of only have one kids and went grocery shopping.  Holy cow it is so much easier with just one bug in tow!

Olivia was pretty excited about what is going on.  I just can't believe how big she is getting!
She is excited!

Jessie wanted to go to school too but she had to stay home.

Showing off her new backpack and a perfect example of why we need a new camera.
At her new school

Checking out the new room.

Saying bye to Mom...more annoyed that we had to go through this process.

Showing off her artwork to Daddy!

The glue wasn't quite dry...oh no!

Behind

So obviously I have been a little behind with updates since Olivia's birthday post actually happened in September and her birthday is in July.  Life has been pretty busy this summer and spending time at the computer is not one of my favorites, so I apologize.  Hopefully I will be back in the blogger world on a more regular basis, but no guarantees especially since I am 36 weeks now and we are in the middle of buying a house.  But I will do what I can.

Olivia turns three!

Happy 3rd Birthday Bug!  Olivia is three!  I can't believe it!  It is amazing to think that she is already three, but at the same time kind of weird that she is only three because it is hard to picture life without her.  We had a great birthday celebration.  Gigi (Chris' Mom) came in from NH!  Grandpa Tony couldn't make it but hopefully we will see him for Christmas.

Olivia is obsessed with Toy Story 2!  Loves it!  So we had a Jessie theme Cowgirl party.  Chili, cornbread and strawberry shortcake...yummy!  It was just family and a couple close friends, which was great.  We had such a blast.  My Mom and Dad came out early and we went to the Northville 4th of July Parade.  People kept shouting "Happy Birthday America, " so naturally Olivia thought the parade was for her birthday party.

Chris took a couple days off while his Mom was in town and we went to the Henry Ford Museum.  It was a great time.  It is always sad to see Gigi go, but we love it when she visits.  Of course before she left we went out to sushi...Olivia's Traditional Birthday Dinner.  Yes, her birthday dinner.  The kid (actually both of them) L.O.V.E.S sushi.  This year she requested it.  She is pretty proficient with the chopstick too!

Happy Birthday Liv!  We love you!

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

Okay so maybe not ugly, but funny.  I was cutting Josh's hair the other day, something that I have done before.  Well, this time didn't go so hot.  Josh moved and I cut...resulting in the most ridiculous haircut I have ever seen.  I laughed so stinking hard.  Thankfully I headed over to my amazing friend (and professional hairdresser) Heather's house the next day to save the poor boy from further embarrassment.

Sleeping Artist?

This happened during nap time at my friend Kristin's house.  Olivia found a giant tub of Crayola markers and decided to color.  Thankfully she only colored herself!!

Sleeping Beauty

This is how I found Olivia during nap time today...

Yes, she is sleeping on the changing table.  The changing table.  We recently switched her to a toddler bed and she crawled her little self out and decided it was better to nap on the changing table.  More comfy I guess.  My favorite part is that she brought her blankets, Minnie, Mickey, and Pluto with her.  No man left behind.
